2. Call in when your favorite radio personality prompts you for a chance to win the $50 daily prize. *** Applies only to stations conducting on-air call-in contests.

3. Enter online at any station website for a chance to win prizes.

 

Online Entry Details

 

• Online entries on The Raptor, The Fox, and The Hill Country Patriot qualify entrants for:

  • The $50 daily gas giveaways, AND

  • The Free Gas for a Year grand prize drawing

• Online entries on other RRMG stations qualify entrants for the Free Gas for a Year drawing only.

• All $50 daily winners are automatically entered into the Free Gas for a Year drawing.

• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

• You must be present to win either grand prize.

• If a selected entrant is not present when their name is called, they will be disqualified and another entrant will be selected.

• Drawings will continue until a present winner is confirmed.

 

Daily $50 Gas Giveaway Rules (Sub-Grand Prize)

 

• The $50 daily gas prize is considered the “sub-grand prize.”

• Each household may win only one (1) $50 sub-grand prize during the contest period.

• Once a household wins the $50 prize on any RRMG station, they are no longer eligible to win another $50 prize on any station.

• Winners cannot win the $50 prize on multiple stations during this contest.

 

Important

 

• Winning the $50 prize does not disqualify you from winning a grand prize.

• However, the 30-day eligibility rule still applies to participation in other contests, outside of this Major Contest.

 

Eligibility Rules

 

•   Contest is open to legal U.S. residents sixteen (16) years of age or older. Entrants under eighteen (18) must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor, accept the prize on their behalf, and complete all required affidavits, releases, and tax documentation.  

• “Household” is defined as individuals residing at the same physical address.

• All prize limits apply per household, not per individual.

 

30-Day Rule

 

• Listeners are generally eligible to win once every 30 days, regardless of station.

• Exception: This contest is classified as a Major Contest, so separate rules apply within this promotion only.

 

Major Contest Rules

Definition

 

A Major Contest is any contest with a prize value of $200.00 or more.
The Great Gas Giveaway qualifies as a Major Contest.

Winning Limits (Per Household)

 

• Each household may win:

  • One (1) sub-grand prize ($50 in free gas), AND

  • One (1) grand prize (Free Gas for a Year or Texas Road Trip)

• Winners are only eligible to win prizes from one (1) Ranch Radio Marketing Group station during this contest.

• Winning on any station disqualifies the household from winning the same prize on any other RRMG station.

• No exceptions, unless otherwise required by law.

 

Grand Prize Restrictions

 

• A household cannot win both:

  • Free Gas for a Year ($1,200), AND

  • Texas Road Trip

 

Prize Details

 

• Free Gas for a Year = $1,200 cash prize

  • Awarded as a one-time lump sum (equivalent to $100/month for 12 months)

• Prize descriptions may differ from expected use or interpretation.

General Contest Rules

 

1. Winners must comply with all contest rules, including age and residency requirements, and must not engage in fraud or deception.

2. Winners must confirm they are not employees or agents of RRMG, sponsors, or members of the same household as such individuals.

3. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees associated with prize acceptance.

4. Winners grant RRMG the right to use their name, likeness, voice, and biographical information for promotional purposes without limitation.

5. RRMG is not the manufacturer or distributor of prizes and is not responsible for product-related claims.

6. RRMG makes no warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Winners release RRMG and contest sponsors from any liability related to participation or prize use.

8. No purchase necessary. Contest is void where prohibited by law.

9. Employees of RRMG, sponsors, other media companies, and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible.

10. RRMG is not responsible for:

    • Technical failures (phone, internet, etc.)

    • Lost, late, or misdirected entries

    • Printing or administrative errors

11. RRMG reserves the right to:

    • Modify rules

    • Terminate the contest at any time without notice

12. RRMG does not discriminate based on religion, ethnicity, race, color, or creed.

13. Contestants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

14.  Winners must claim and pick up their prize within thirty (30) days. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or fails to claim the prize within this period, the prize will be forfeited without compensation, and an alternate winner may be selected at RRMG's sole discretion.

GENERAL CONTEST RULES
The following rules, and specific contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at 3505 Fredericksburg Road, Kerrville, TX 78028 and at https://www.ranchradiomarketinggroup.com and then clicking on the url for the station for which is hosting any particular contest. 

1. Winner must comply with all of the rules of the Contest, including, but not limited to, any restrictions on age and/or residency, and have not committed any fraud or deception in entering the Contest or claiming the Prize.

2. The winner must affirm and represent that he/she is not an employee or agent of the Station or any sponsor of the Contest and is not a member of the same household of any such employee or agent.

3. In consideration of the receipt of the Prize, the winner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or other fees, including, but not limited to, any federal state or local income taxes, that are or may become payable as a result of participating in the Contest and/or receipt of the Prize.

4. The winner agrees to allow the Station and/or its designees the right to use winner’s name, likeness, portrait, recorded voice and/or biographical material for an unlimited period of time in order to advertise, promote or publicize the Station and/or the products and services of any of its designees.

5. The Station is not the manufacturer or distributor of the Prize. With respect to any claims that the winner may now have, or that he/she may subsequently acquire as a result of the possession and/or use of the Prize, the winner acknowledges and agrees that he/she shall look solely to others in the chain of production and distribution of the Prize to the exclusion of the Station and any sponsors of the Contest.

6. The station makes no warranties of any kind with respect to the prize, including, but not limited to, any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Station hereby expressly disclaims any and all such warranties.

7. The winner expressly releases the station, and any sponsors of the contest, and their respective officers, directors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and employees, from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that he/she may have, or may subsequently acquire, as a result of participating in the contest and/or receipt of the prize.

8. No purchase is necessary to participate in or win The Hill Country Fox 106.5 contests. Contests are void where prohibited by law.

9. Employees of Radio Ranch, LLC, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, vendors and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible.

10. The station is not responsible for telephone system or internet failure, or other inability of entrants to enter due to technical malfunction. This station is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected mail or for printing errors. No mechanically reproduced or completed entries will be accepted.

11. Listeners are only eligible to win every 30 days.

12. All federal, state and local taxes apply and are the sole responsibility of the winner.

13.
